Civil War Regimental Bands in the Susquehanna Valley
Civil War Regimental Bands were partly military ceremony and morale, and partly practical wartime service. Civil War bands played for recruiting, marches, dress parades, inspections, funerals, patriotic occasions, religious services, and camp entertainment.
